Автор анализирует современное состояние мировой экономической науки после кризиса 2008 г. Рассматриваются процессы как внутри самой науки, так и в ее взаимоотношениях с текущей экономической политикой, с действиями отдельных акторов в реальной экономической ситуации, включая этические аспекты этих взаимоотношений. Делаются предположения о путях дальнейшего развития экономического знания.
