Abstract
The author analyzes different approaches to presenting and typology of conflict of interests. The methods and mechanisms of prevention such conflicts, including the relief of symptoms of nepotism, declaration of public offi cials and their relatives, financial and property status , implementation of codes and standards of conduct for public offi cials are considered. The concrete situations of confl ict of interests in contemporary Russian reality are represented.
