Abstract
The problem of poverty in Russia is analyzed as “poverty deprivation” and “income poverty” in connection with the problems of a mixed economy of the country. The structural background of poverty in Russia is discovered. Estimations of its different types (pre-industrial, industrial, post-industrial) and recommendations of the fight against poverty, taking into account the characteristics of each of its type, are given.
