Abstract
The article discusses the problems of claims in favor of an indefi nite number of persons in modernRussia. The authors note the effectiveness of this legal mechanism to combat the abuse and corruption.At the same time they emphasize the presence of obstacles, which linked its use in Russia, de factoban on fi ling such lawsuits by individual citizens, the general weakness of legal regulation of thiscategory of claims. As a possible reference point for law reform the practice of Anglo-Saxon familyis considered.
